I’m Sabrina Montimurro, a Strategic Designer from Stuttgart, Germany. I translate users’ needs into delightful design solutions. Gaining insights from the users and co-working with them is the part of my job that I enjoy the most. Currently I work at Bosch Digital.
Studies
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Design, Art & Media from the Merz Akademie Stuttgart. In my bachelor studies I chose the pathway New Media. The focus was on User Interface Design, User Experience Design, New Media Art and Media studies. In my projects I questioned our relationship with technology. Using design practices, technology or writing I explored issues in digital culture.
I hold a master’s degree in Strategic Design from the University of Design Schwäbisch Gmünd. The studies consisted of design, research and management.
Work experience
I worked at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO in the research field of Ergonomics and Interface Design. There I gained knowledge in user research methods by conducting usability tests and adjusting my designs according to the users’ needs.
At the Institute of 4D Technologies I designed interfaces following a user-centered design process. I was also involved in the coding side of several projects working closely with the developers. Moreover, I was in charge of the usability lab with eye tracking technology.
At Bosch.IO I designed the user experience for IoT services. Being part of an agile team, I learned to intertwine agile software development with UX activites.
Currently, I am working at Bosch Digital, driving the digital transformation in a user- and customer-centric way. I put the user at the center of digital strategies and coach the organization to live and breath a user-centric culture.
